 HALLOWEEN HORROR?
Back to Full Blog

SURROUNDED BY WOMEN! Well, almost.
I'm really blessed this Halloween to have a wonderful wife, one
daughter, two daughters-in-law, six (6) granddaughters, one great-granddaughter and two female cats, Sarah and Fluffy. That leaves my
salvation and minority votes, up to sons John and Jim. You do the math! Clearly outnumbered but loving it. Happy Halloween all of my friends.

I'll take those odds anyday! 11 to 1, no can lose -- surrounded by such beauty and grace. Not that the 2 cats are chopped liver. Hope today is another wonderful treat. Cheers! -- Prank

It's always nice to be in the company of a loving, happy family. With my mother's back surgery taking so long to heal, none of us dare go visit them because it is hard on her nerves and causes her more pain. It gives me a glimpse into the future without her.

To all of you above and others "tuned in" >>> I do count my blessings everyday - fortunately from a practical standpoint, family are all within forty miles so get together often. >>> adding to my "family" through these blogs has been an interesting adventure. It is new to me. I really feel that I now have connections with some really nice people - you guys.(Though I sometimes wish a few of you were not so misguided toward the left.) >>> My sympathy for back pain - My wife also had spinal surgery but still has serious pain. I feel for you. >>> Our son John did turn into responsible adult (Bussing and dishwashing helped I'm sure.) He has a wonderful family now. >>> Best wishes to you guys/gals/ I love you all - even to the farthest left(you have my sympathy too!) TT

Dear TT: I was so sorry to hear about your personal loss. I would be privileged to pray for your friend and the family. God bless. 2 Cor. 1:3-4 (NIV) …God of all comfort, [4] who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Mr. P.- You will find out when you get around to inviting me to a State Dinner. I'll be glad to join you in a toast to whomever is the honored guest on that occasion. I guess tonight would be too soon? Charles and Camilla? Please tell him I saw his mother out here at the City of Hope hospital in Duarte. It's one of her charities, you know. I got soaked as it was drizzling that afternoon. Please send the invite so it doesn't get thrown out with the rest of the political stuff in my mailbox. Hope to see you soon. TT

Ted, you're always welcome, just show up. Apparently they let just about anybody through the front gate and I'd rather see you than Bono of U2. Just bring a bucket of that ice cream you like.
